:: Our Most Popular Trip :: During September and October we offer spectacular fishing trips on the Rogue River at Agness, Oregon. Agness is nestled in the beautiful coastal mountains. The Rogue River winds its way through these mountains on its last 30 miles to the Pacific Ocean. You would be fishing for fall run Salmon ranging from 5 to 45 lbs. and summer run Steelhead from 1/2 to 8 lbs. Your trip starts at daylight. You will fish for Salmon until 11 am when you will be returned to the lodge for lunch and a rest. You'll start fishing again at 4:30 pm and have the option to continue Salmon fishing or fly fish for the summer run Steelhead until dusk, then return to the lodge for an 8pm dinner. This trip is offered as a package including your fishing guide, lodging, fishing license, and official Oachs Brothers fishing cap. Package price is only $305 a day. This is an experience that will last a lifetime!

If you have a favorite rod, feel free to bring it.    :: Lodging is at Lucas Ranch Lodge (meals included), serving Rogue River fishermen since 1903. This trip is available with guide services only. We can advise where you can locate lodging or RV parking. At your request we will make these reservations for you.

Cost - $200.00 per day, per angler. Package trips with lodging and meals are available.

Guide Boats - We angle from drift boats and jet power boats. Drift boats fish two anglers per guide, and our jet boats fish up to four guests. The type of boat depends on river and time of year you are fishing.

Angler License - Oregon fishing license and Salmon/Steelhead tag is required. You will need to purchase them when you arrive. The cost is approximately $12.00 per day.

Clothing - When you fish in Oregon it's always a good idea to bring rain gear and waterproof footwear. Trips go rain-or-shine "if" river conditions are good. Even during the summer months it's a good idea to bring a coat for early morning hours. If you have a special request, please feel free to ask.

Reservations - Required, but if you can only get away on short notice, give us a call and we will make every effort to accommodate you. We can arrange for your lodging, if you desire. Information on local motels and lodges are available. You can book any number of days you would like to fish. No half-day trips. Groups of most any size can be accommodated.

Deposit - A 50% deposit is required to confirm all trip dates. Cancellation of a trip is unlikely, but we do reserve the right to cancel the trip due to severe weather conditions. In those cases, your deposit will be refunded or your trip rescheduled.

Insurance - Guides are fully insured and registered with the state of Oregon for your protection. We are also licensed by the United States Coast Guard. Careful preparations are made to insure you and your party a safe and enjoyable, never to be forgotten, Salmon or Steelhead fishing adventure.
